REGISTRATION OPENS IN SEPTEMBER

Our second annual Fall Intensive Workshop will take place on Saturday, October 10, at the University of Maryland’s Merrill College of Journalism. The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It is open to high school students engaged in school publications and media and their advisers.
 
Participants will choose one morning workshop and one afternoon workshop, each running 90 minutes. Workshops will deliver hands-on skill building relating to story writing and development, social media use, photography/videography, student leadership of publications and more. A pizza lunch will be provided.
 
Registration ($15 per participant) opens in early September. Although students may attend the workshop without an accompanying adviser, the registration process at each school must be handled by a publication adviser.
